About Prof. Dr. Stefan Reindl
Professor Dr Stefan Reindl, born in 1966, has been responsible for a large number of research projects at the Institute of Automotive Economics (IfA) since 1997. He was COO and Deputy Director from 2003 and took over as Scientific Director and CEO of the Institute of Automotive Economics in 2018. He was appointed Professor of Automotive Economics at the University of Applied Sciences for Business and the Environment in 2003 and has been Dean of Studies for the automotive and mobility bachelor's and master's programmes at the University of Applied Sciences for Business and the Environment since 2008. He is also the initiator and director of the "ifa automotive business school", host of the annual IfA industry summit, managing director of "Zukunftswerkstatt 4.0" and a member of the steering committee of the automotive industry strategy dialogue and the automotive industry transformation council of the Baden-Württemberg state government. Professor Reindl is the author of numerous publications in the context of studies, monographs, editorships and specialist and book contributions on automotive industry challenges. He is also active as a consultant and advisory board member for companies in the automotive and mobility industry.
